RESEARCH EXPERIENCE:
- Member of the project, the uses of some Sudanese Plants for the treatment of abdomianl colic in children, Traditional Research Institute, supported by Ford Foundation. I did some Toxic studies in Tow Pants, El Haza and El Hargel used in Folk Medicine in Sudan 1987.
- Head of Scientific group from Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Research Institute appointed for the collection of medicinal and toxicological plants, and also for documentation of folk uses of Sudan plants in North Kordofan. Ist Dec.1983- 1989.
- Member of the project, Anthelmintics and Toxicological activities of Medicinal plants. Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Institute 1983-1989.
- Secretary of the Researcher’s Council, Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Research Institute, 1988 - 1990.
- Member of the project titled the role of proleinkinase C in the hatching process of Schitosoma. mansoni eggs, under Professor Y. Aoki, Institute for Tropical Medicine, University of Nagaski. Japan 1989 - till now.
- Active participant in the project titled, Hepatoprotective activity of some Sudanese medicinal plants aiming at the treatment of Jaundice. Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Research Institute, 1988 - till now.
- Visiting Research professor to the Department of parasitology Institute of Tropical Medicine Nagasaki University from Dec. 1. 1997 till Nov 30 1998. (One year).

ADMINSTRATIVE EXPERIENCES:
• Director General of the National Center for Research, August 2007- now.

• Co-ordinator of the project designed for the treatment of Jaundice by Medicinal plants.
