Ms Teresa Riera Madurell MEP was elected to the European Parliament in June 2004 for the Balearic Islands. She is the S&D coordinator of the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy and member of the Delegation for relations with ASEAN and NATO. In addition, she is a substitute on the Committee on Foreign Affairs and subcommittee on Security and Defence.  She is the Rapporteur of the Horizon 2020 - Horizon 2020 - The Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (2014-2020)
