Morten Ernebjerg got his PhD in theoretical physics from Harvard University in 2007. Fascinated by the use of modeling in biology, he then became a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Systems Biology at Harvard Medical School. During his five years there, he worked on the ecology of soil bacteria, both experimentally and using simulations, and on cross-species genomic analysis. In 2012, he joined the SAP Innovation Center as a developer; his interests include the analysis of large-scale biological data and data visualization.
