Jeantine E. Lunshof, PhD

Jeantine E. Lunshof, PhD, is a philosopher and bioethicist, based at the Section Molecular Cell Physiology at VU University Amsterdam. She holds a prestigious Marie Curie Fellowship and currently works at Harvard Medical School, Department of Genetics, where she pursues a training and research program on systems biology-based concepts of health and disease, and the development of a systems approach for ethics. In 2006, she developed the innovative model of “open consent” that forms the normative backbone of the Personal Genome Project.
