Mr. Art Salindong is the Managing Director of Trabus Technologies, a US Small Business headquartered in San Diego, California, USA. Trabus Technologies specializes in research and engineering in the following areas: Information Technology, Cyber-Security, Signal Processing, and RF Communications.
Mr. Salindong previously served as a Director at Qualcomm Incorporated, also in San Diego. He managed several business portfolios for Defense and other government customers within the Government Technologies Division. He participated in multiple 3G/4G wireless technologies efforts and oversaw team efforts that delivered wireless devices, infrastructure, and innovative signal processing capabilities.
Prior to his work at Qualcomm, Mr. Salindong completed a career as a US Naval Officer. A former nuclear submarine officer with significant operational experience, Mr. Salindong was also a member of the Defense Acquisition Workforce serving in multiple leadership capacities. Working with Navy Information Assurance and Information Systems Security Programs, he collaborated closely with navy commands and industry to introduce key enhancements to Navy networks through robust R&D programs. Prior to this work, Mr. Salindong also served in the Submarine Communications Program Office, managing the acquisition efforts of submarine communication products including submarine mounted antennas, terminals, auxiliary equipment, as well as overseeing efforts to support communications at speed and depth. Mr. Salindong also served in engineering and management capacities within Navy Undersea Surveillance Special Projects and the Surveillance Towed Array Sensor System (SURTASS) Program, both programs supporting the Navy’s undersea surveillance capabilities.
Mr. Salindong has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the US Naval Academy and Master of Science degrees in Physics, Engineering Acoustics, and Product Development, all from the Naval Postgraduate School.
