Ami Daniel is the CEO of Windward Ltd., which develops innovative technology for satellite-based maritime analytics. Ami is highly skilled in the domains of maritime analytics, operational naval activity and earth observation satellite technology.

Prior to Windward, Ami served as a naval officer in the Israeli Navy, and he is a graduate of the Israeli Naval Academy and of the Advanced Naval Command Course. During his service, he served as tactical officer and later as the head of the C4I section.

Ami has a rich entrepreneurship track record, and was awarded multiple awards for his social activity, including the Israeli President's Award for Social Activist, The Ilan Ramon Award for Leadership and Excellence and a special award by the German Minister of Education for outstanding research.
Ami holds an LL.B. from Tel-Aviv University.
